Meet Scout, Quill and Fetch
Rookery's assistant is three helpers. Each one has a single job, and they work in the open, right in your conversations. In Settings, they're listed under Agents.
- Scout sorts and guards. Scout reads every new email first. It picks a topic, marks the urgent ones, and warns you when an email looks like a scam. If a reply is needed, Scout hands the conversation to Quill.
- Quill writes. Quill drafts replies from the conversation, your team's notes and your playbook. Each draft lists its sources and waits for your yes.
- Fetch chases. Fetch files documents from your mail, checks what people upload, and reminds them about anything still missing.
Ask a helper for help
- Open a conversation.
- To have Quill write the reply, open the Assignee menu and pick Quill (agent).
- Or write an internal note and type
@Quill, then say what you want. For example: "@Quill tell her the order ships Monday." - Quill's draft shows up in the conversation and in Needs your yes.
Pause a helper
- Go to Settings → Agents. Only owners and admins can open it.
- Untick Active for the helper you want to pause.
- A paused helper does nothing and can't be assigned until you turn it back on.
Good to know
- You see what the helpers did on Today, under "While you were away".
- When Scout is reading an email, the conversation says "Scout is reading this…". When Quill is writing, it says "Quill is drafting a reply…".
- If a helper can't finish something, it leaves a note saying a person needs to take it.
- The Team playbook in Settings → Agents holds facts and policies every helper may use, like opening hours or your refund rule.
