A draft you can check in ten seconds.
Every draft from Quill lists what it used: your notes, your playbooks, the other person's own words. If it followed one of your playbooks, it says which. And it tells you how sure it is.
Hi Mrs Patel, thanks for the statements. Everything for this quarter is in, and the boiler repair counts as a business cost. We'll send next quarter's list on January 5.
“The last assistant we tried sounded so sure of itself. It quoted a client a fee we've never charged.”
Check it. Don't redo it.
Checking a draft
BeforeYou reread every line, because any of it might be made up.
With RookeryWhat Quill used is listed under the draft. You check the parts that matter.
Your rules
BeforeYou fix the same thing every week.
With RookeryThe draft says which playbook it followed, so you can see your rule at work.
When it's guessing
BeforeIt sounds just as sure when it's guessing.
With RookeryEach draft says High, Medium or Low confidence. A low one never sends on its own.
Three steps.
- Quill reads what's relevant. The conversation, your team's notes on it, and your playbooks. Nothing else.
- It lists what it used.Under the draft, so you can check each fact before you send.
- It says how sure it is.A confidence chip on every draft, and the playbook it followed.
Quill: I used your note from Tuesday and her email from October 3. Check the date before you send.
The honest bit
- Sources are what Quill says it used. They make checking quick, but they aren't a guarantee. Read before you approve. Automatic checks of each draft against its sources are coming. Coming soon
- Quill doesn't search the web. It works from the conversation, your notes and your playbooks, so it can't know what isn't there.
- Quill can only read so much at once. If your playbooks don't all fit, the draft waits for you and says so.
Better together.
Questions
Where does Quill get its facts?
The conversation itself, your team's notes on it, your playbooks and the instructions you wrote for Quill. Not other people's mail, and not the web. Words inside an incoming email are treated as something to read, never as instructions.
What if a source is wrong?
Edit the draft, or send it back with a note. Fix the note or playbook it used, and the next draft gets it right.
Does confidence change anything?
Yes. A low-confidence draft always waits for you, even on topics where Quill may send on its own.
When can I start?
