Front to Rookery, same address.
Inboxes, owners, notes and rules work the way you're used to. Rookery adds an assistant on every thread, in every seat.
- What moves
- New mail, from the day you switch
- What you keep
- support@ and every other address
- Old conversations
- Stay in Front, to read
- Who does it
- You and a founder, on a call
“Will we lose anything?”
What comes with you, what stays.
Comes with you
- Every shared address, on your own domain
- Your teammates, and who can use each inbox
- Your rules, rewritten as plain sentences (we do this with you)
- Message templates, as shared snippets Rookery's drafts use too
- Signatures, for each person and each inbox
Stays in Front for now
- Old conversations. Keep Front open to read them. Importing old mail isn't built yet.
- Chat, SMS and social channels. Rookery is email.
- Integrations from Front's app directory. Rookery has an API, webhooks and an MCP server.
“We can't stop answering for a week.”
5 steps, done with you.
- Invite your team and choose who can use each inbox: everyone, a group, or only the people you pick.
- Send your support@ mail to Rookery: your mail provider forwards it, and customers keep writing to the same address. Replies come from your Rookery address, with your own address as Reply-To.
- Rewrite your rules as sentences: “When it's a refund request, take turns in Support, priority High.” Test each one on last week's mail.
- Bring your templates into Snippets, so people and Rookery's drafts use the same words.
- Run both for a week, answering in Rookery and reading old threads in Front. Then stop new mail reaching Front.
