# Trips: your flights in one place

Rookery gathers a trip's emails by confirmation code and flight, puts the flight on your calendar, and tells you loudly when it changes.

Your own mail · Updated October 11, 2026 · https://userookery.com/help/trips/

Airlines send a lot of email: the confirmation, seat upgrades, Wi-Fi offers, check-in, and sometimes a delay. Rookery reads them as they arrive and gathers each trip's emails in one place, so none of them sits in your inbox waiting for a reply.

## What a trip shows

Open any email about the trip. A **Trip** card sits at the top with:

- the confirmation code
- each flight, like "UA 499 · Seattle (SEA) → San Francisco (SFO)"
- the day and times, each in its own airport's time zone, like "7:40 am Seattle time → 9:55 am San Francisco time"
- your seat, when the email says it
- links to the trip's other emails

Emails are matched by their confirmation code, or by the flight number and its day.

## Your calendar

When a trip arrives in your own inbox, its flight goes on your calendar in the airport's time zone, with a two-hour block before it to get to the airport.

## On Today

- **A day before**, Fetch reminds you that check-in is open.
- **On your travel day**, a card shows the flight, when it leaves and lands, your seat and the confirmation code.
- **When something changes**, like a delay, a gate change or a cancellation, it goes to the top of Today with the new time. Click **Got it** once you've seen it.

## Good to know

- Rookery reads the airline's booking details first, when the airline's own domain signed the email. Otherwise it reads the words.
- The first version knows flights. Hotels, trains and car rentals are kept in [Kept](https://userookery.com/help/kept/) for now.
- Rookery never follows links in travel emails. To rebook or check in, use the airline's app or type their website yourself.
- Scout still checks every travel email for scams. A held email isn't added to a trip.
