# Approve a draft, and undo a send

Quill's drafts wait in Needs your yes. Approve one as it is, edit it first, or send it back with a note. Every send has a 20-second undo.

When Quill writes a reply, it waits for you. You can send it as it is, change it first, or ask Quill to try again. Nothing goes out until you say yes.

## Approve from the list

1. Open **Needs your yes** in the sidebar. The page lists every draft that's waiting, oldest first.
2. Each card shows who it's to, the first lines of the reply, Quill's confidence, and its **Sources**.
3. Click **Approve** to send it as it is.
4. Click **Open and edit** to change it inside the conversation first.
5. Click **Discard** to throw it away. Quill won't try again.

## Edit or send back in the conversation

1. Open the conversation. The draft card says **Reply drafted by Quill**.
2. Change any words in the box.
3. Click **Approve and send**.
4. Or click **Send back**. Under "What should Quill change?", write what you want, like "Shorter, and offer Thursday." Quill writes a new draft. Leave the box empty to just discard the draft.

## Undo a send

Every reply you send or approve waits 20 seconds before it goes. The message shows **Sending in** with a countdown and an **Undo** button. Click **Undo** and the email stays with you. The text goes back into the reply box so you can fix it.

## Good to know

- On Today, drafts show up with a **Draft ready** sticker.
- **Approve** from the list marks the conversation as waiting on the customer. In the conversation, you can untick **Mark as waiting on the customer** before you send.
- If the draft asks for documents, approving also sends the upload link. See [ask someone for documents](https://userookery.com/help/request-documents/).
- After the undo window ends, the email is gone. You'll see "Too late to undo" if you try.
- A new draft replaces an older one nobody acted on.
- There are no keyboard shortcuts for approving yet.
